About Me

Currently I am serving as Conference Preparation Coordinator, as part of my work at the Church.  I was Born in 1954 in Chubbuck, Idaho to goodly parents; served in the Mexico Veracruz Mission (best mission in the Church!); served in several bishoprics in family and student wards throughout the US; served as an eastern and southern US administrator in CES; and then in temple presidency of the Oakland temple; served as mission president in California San Bernardino Mission (Spanish speaking); earned a master’s in religious education from BYU in 1979; have five kids, three girls and two boys, with my eternal companion, Janette Gibson Porter.  We forever remember that joyous spring day in 1976, sealed in the Provo temple by one of the very Lord’s anointed.
